Out of bounds

1. From the tee: If your ball was or may have been hit OB (white stakes) then you must take a provisional off the tee. Ball type/# must be different and must be declared. If first ball is not found, then the player must play their second ball and will be lying 3. If a provisional was not taken and the ball cannot be found along the OB boundary then a drop will be taken and you will be lying 3 (2 stroke penalty).

2. Not from tee: if ball went OB treat it as a hazard (see below)

Hazards (yellow stakes):

1. Ball can be dropped as far from hazard as wanted as long as the ball is no closer to the hole then the point of entry and you do not improve your lie (rough  fairway)

2. Drop from knee height. Play it as it lies.

Cant find a ball:

1. If a ball cannot be found despite the perception, by all, that the ball should be in plain site in the fairway/rough, then the opposing team may grant a free drop.

2. If a ball was definitely not struck OB or into a hazard but cannot be found (among trees for example), then a drop with a penalty will ensue after a sufficient effort by all members to find the ball.  

Tree root:

1.  We already have 1 cripple in this tournament thanks to a tree root…we don’t need another. Move the ball away from the hole the smallest distance possible to avoid the tree root. No lateral movement which improves your angle to the hole is allowed.

Divot:

1. Move the ball immediately adjacent to the divot

Mud ball

1. Clean and drop, do not place

Puddle/Soaked grass:

1. Drop ball at closest “dry” spot without getting any closer to the hole or improving your angle to the hole

Gimmes:

1. Only to be awarded by opposing team.

Mullies / Happy Ball

1. “Happy Ball” Can be used only on the 1st tee, and must be agreed by all players.  

2. 1 mulli per person per round on any Tee Box, only if all players agree

Handicaps will be frozen on Thursday
